Abstract EN

The present research aimed to preparer academic engagement scale of learning disability individiuals to verify the indicators of internal consistency, and reliability and validity of the scale.

the research sample consisted of (30) learning disability individiuals in the frist prep school, in one of the schools affiliated to the west Zagazig educational administration with Sharkia governorate.

in its initial form, the scale consists of (60) phrases.

the indications of the internal consistency of the scale calculated by finding correlation coefficients between the scores of each item of the scale and the total degrees of the dimensions, as well as the scale as a whole and the level of its significance.

the indications of scale reliability calculated using the alpha-Cronbach and split-half for spearman brown methods.

the significance of the indicators of the validity of academic engagement scale for students with learning disabilities calculated in way of the factorial validity and confirmatory factor analysis.

for these results, (7) phrases have been deleted, so that the number of phrases for the scale is (53) phrases.

the results indicated that academic engagement scale for students with learning disabilities has indications of good measurement indicators that justify its use, based on the literature and the results of the research, a set of recommendations and suggestions was implemented.
