Abstract EN

This study aims to enhance the positive directions of teachers towards simple intellectual disabilities, "teachable", in Qassim merged schools, and to conceptualize a suggested proposal to those positive directions.

to achieve this aim, the current research tools had been applied on 103 teachers who work at the merged schools where a questionnaire of enhancing the positive directions of teachers towards intellectual disabilities, "teachable", in Qassim merged schools, was applied by the researcher.

the research has found many results, most important of which are: the directions of the teachers towards the students with intellectual disabilities are supreme, the directions of the teachers were ranked first towards the services offered to the students with intellectual disabilities, while the directions of the teachers were ranked second towards the teaching the students with intellectual disabilities.

there are no statistical differences in the directors of the teachers towards intellectual disabilities, "teachable", in Qassim merged schools and that due to the different educational qualifications.
