Abstract EN

The aim of the current research is to identify 1.

the level of students' cognitive integration.

2.

statistically significant differences in cognitive integration according to the two variables : a.

gender (male-female).

b.

type of students (outstanding ordinary).

in order to achieve the goals, it was necessary to adopt a tool to measure cognitive integration.

for this reason, the researcher adopted the scale (al-Baliti and Mishal, 2008), which consisted of (60) items distributed over two areas, and after verifying the psychometric properties of the research scale and its paragraphs, it was applied to the basic research sample of (400) distinguished students.

in the province of Babylon for the academic year (2021-2022), they were selected in a random manner with a proportional distribution, if the selection of the sample in this way makes it more representative of the original community and after analyzing the data statistically using the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS), the results yielded the following : * outstanding students in general enjoy a high level of cognitive integration, and this represents a positive indicator and confirms the proper preparation process for this segment.

• the level of cognitive integration among outstanding students is not affected by the gender variable, as it is the result of the outstanding students' perceptions, the environmental conditions to which they are subject, and their unique characteristics without the gender variable having a significant impact.
