This study seeks to show the importance of the image in the narrative workshop, by showing its importance at the level of narration as well as poetry, as the long history of pairing between image and poetry made it (image) inseparable from poetry, and its narrative presence remained far from the eyes of scholars, so this study confirms that The image has an effective narrative presence, this effectiveness is demonstrated through the conscious use of it, and this is what this study worked to show by highlighting the critical aspect of the image included in the novel (Iraq Cinema) by the novelist Ahmed Ibrahim Al-Saad, so the axes were divided in general on highlighting the historical importance of the image, and its importance in the novelist work, and then to show the effectiveness of the image as a tool for criticism and scrutiny of reality, and to show the aesthetics of this use by the novelist.
