The research aims to identify the metacognitive thinking skills of chemistry teachers and their relationship to the cognitive representation and scientific sense of their students.

(30) items, and the researcher adopted a cognitive representation scale prepared by (Glade, 2018) consisting of (29) items, while the scientific sense scale consisted of (40) items, and the validity and reliability of the tools were verified, as well as the statistical analysis of their items in the light of the research results.

The researcher concluded that Most of the chemistry teachers for the third intermediate gradeThey possess a level of supracognitive thinking skills at a medium degree, and that the type of positive relationship between the metacognitive thinking skills of chemistry teachers for the third intermediate grade and the cognitive representation and scientific sense of their scientific students and in light of this the researcher recommended a number of recommendations and suggestions.
