The current research is limited to students at Kindergartens Department at university of Baghdad and Al-Mustansiriyah University for the academic year 2022-2021.

The research sample consisted of (400) female students from the two universities and from four stages (first, second, third, and fourth) chosen by a simple random method.

The descriptive correlative approach was used in the study.

As for the purpose of measuring the research variable, namely perceptual curiosity, the researcher constructed two questionnaires according to the scientific steps and by reviewing previous studies.

The researcher exposed the questionnaires to a group of (20) experts and specialists in the field of kindergartens and in the field of educational and psychological sciences to know how valid the items are.

The researcher also investigated the standard characteristics (validity and reliability) of the questionnaires.

The validity was verified using two methods (face validity and construct validity).

As for the reliability of the two questionnaires, Cronbach’s alpha formula was used, and it was found to be (0.93).

The researcher used appropriate statistical methods to show the results (Pearson Correlation Coefficient, T-Test, and Variance analysis), and after applying the academic compatibility and perceptual curiosity questionnaires, data was analyzed and processed statistically using a statistical program (SPSS).

The researcher found following results: 1.

The students at kindergartens Department have perceptual curiosity.

In terms of perceptual curiosity, it is found that there are statistically significant differences between the two colleges (College of Education for Woman – Baghdad University / College of Basic Education – Al-Mustansiriyah University) in favour of Kindergartens Department at Al-Mustansiriyah University.

In term of perceptual curiosity, it is found that there are statistically significant differences between the first stage and the fourth stage in favour for the first stage, and between the second stage and the fourth stage in favour for the second stage, Based on the results, the researcher has put some recommendations And a set of suggestions.
