Abstract EN

The current research aimed to know the depletion of the ego and its relationship to self-regulation and orientation towards the future, The research sample consisted of (142) male and female students from the College of Education - Al-Mustansiriya University, By using the Pearson correlation coefficient and the t-test, the results showed: the research sample had a moderate degree of ego depletion, self-regulation, and orientation toward the future, and also showed a positive, statistically significant correlation between ego depletion and self-organization, and between self-regulation and orientation.

Towards the future, and a statistically significant negative correlation between ego depletion and orientation towards the future, and the results resulted in some recommendations and suggestions.
