Abstract EN

The current research aims to conduct a comparative analytical study of the content of the textbooks of the Holy Qur’an and Islamic education for all secondary school’s levels, according to the concepts included in the textbooks.

The (first, second, third) intermediate (fourth,fifth,sixth) preparatory, and the research sample was represented by the content of the book, and included the comparison tool by examining a set of studies and research included in the process of conducting analysis and comparison according to the concepts adopted in the curriculum in all intermediate and preparatory stages, to identify strengths and weaknesses in the curriculum, to learn the sequence of topics and the growth of concepts according to the chronological age of the students and their relevance to the surrounding environment in Iraq.

Giving the content of the books was analyzed according to the concepts included in the explicit and implicit idea as a unit of registration, which the researchers in their previous research conducted the analysis process for all books according to the concepts included in them, and the validity of the analysis was confirmed by presenting it to a group of arbitrators, and using Cooper's equation the stability of the analysis was calculated, and in agreement with external analysts, the study concluded that there are percentages of repetitions of the concepts within the series of intermediate and preparatory levels, with weak methodological development of the topics, and in light of the results of the research, a set of recommendations and suggestions were presented.
