In light of the rapid changes in international relations resulting from Globalization, the information revolution and technological development, numerous studies have emerged on the appearance of new borders designated as post-modern and virtual ones.

These new borders go beyond the classical ones and are not related to the sovereignty of the state, and require the development of border control mechanisms.

Within this context, countries have adopted a “coordinated border management”to face the Globalization effects and its repercussions on borders.

In view of that, this study deals with the inputs of the Globalization impact on borders and the definition of post-modern borders and ways to manage them.
