The prose poem is a literary term that has recently emerged and was able to compete with verse, and could be independent from it.

It has its own ways of analysis and detail to investigate the depths of his rhetoric.

This form of literature has found supporters, in addition to face opponents; a fierce war that took it out of the Arab literature, but it is a well-known Arab literature that has roots extending to poetry and prose, it combined their characteristics, until it was said that it was present in the shrine, and the writings of the ancients, so it was necessary to search for this type of literature and its origins, and give an explanation of the original and the objectionable attached to it.

The research is starts with an introduction, the first section; the concept of the prose poem and its origin, the second section; the characteristics of the prose poem, the third section; rhetorical arts in examples of prose poems.
