إن موضوع النظر من الموضوعات العقدية الضرورية، الذي يعد أحد أسباب معرفة الله-تعالى– عن طريق التفكر و التأمل و الاستدلال، و قد جاء معنـى النظر بمعان عدة منها ما قصد به الرؤية أو الحاسة البصرية، و منها ما قصد به الانتظـار، أو المقابلة، أو الإدراك والتأمل و التفكـر، أو طلب المعرفة، أو طلب الرحمة، إلى غير ذلك .
