as for the aftermath : the research aims to show the importance of the graphic image in the poetic painting in diwan (doors of the night), which depends on a great deal of symbolism and camouflage, and the poet Abdul Rahim Saleh al-Rahim presented an image from the womb of society and transferred it in a beautiful mosaic in which he relied on the technique of poetic image and research divided into a preface and two sections : section 1 : image sources second section : the graphic image in his poetry the first sources of the image were (theater), as it achieved initial conditions in the theatrical construction, including : dramatic tendency, intensification in phrase, and descriptive narrative actions, and came second (plastic art), and there is a close link between the poet and plastic art; they work to reshape the lived reality into images and symbols reduced in order to influence the recipient to change or analyze reality, and came third (narrative), where the poet invested narrative in his poems.

as for the second section, (graphic images) came from the analogy in the texts of the poet, because they present what was far away and able to embody the sensations and feelings that are mixed in the poet's chest, as the metaphors were the most share of the rest of the graphic images (metaphorical and canonical)
