The text occupies prominent place in contemporary critical theory, and has become an important axis in the theory of text, which belongs to the horizon of modernity and postmodernism.

the text takes center stage and works to reshape it according to a scientific vision based on linguistic foundations, following a descriptive approach based on classification and analysis of the levels enjoyed by the text.

it tries to move away from the aesthetic standards produced by the theory of literature and its philosophical references.

despite the celebration of the critical and rhetorical heritage of the concept of the text, the contemporary Arab critical discourse continued to include this concept of Western intellectual dimensions, which vary widely on the basis of Arabic text.

so we will try to answer the following problem: - how did the Arab critics deal with the basic components of building the text? what are the cultural references from which they started? - how did the Arab critical discourse deal with the text?
