During the colonial period, Algerian poets struggled with words that provided each individual with effective power, enableing them to embrace death with out concern for the freedom of their country.

in this article, we aim to address the role and importance of poetry in instilling a revolutionary spirit within every Algerian.

we begin by exploring the question: to what extent can free speech be a contributing factor in liberating nations, and how much can it disrupt the identity of the recipient, prompting them to sacrifice their lives for freedom and dignity? to achieve this, we rely on poetic models infused with a revolutionary spirit, alongside sincerity and artistic beauty.

the results lead us to two conclusions: firstly, Algerians are born from suffering and nurtured by crises, remaining steadfast and unyielding in their pursuit of freedom and independence.

secondly, Algerian poets transcend themselves to write about humanity because they simply adore objectivity and merge into the collective interest.
