This research works on touching the position of the mind in the interpretational code of balance, through the statement of the dialectic of the text and the interpreter, and what it accumulates from a store of knowledge that draws for it its explanatory determinants that distinguish it despite its multiple occupations and its ramifications between theology, philosophy and mysticism.

Hence, the research works to show the effects of these different disciplines and their impact on the industry of the mind within the interpretive system, which is a turning point in the contemporary arena, as most Shiite interpretive trends belong to it, or at least left their mark in it.

This research will attempt to reveal and analyze the position of the mind according to Allamah Tabataba'i through what he put forward in his famous interpretation "The Balance in the Interpretation of the Qur'an" to follow the subjects he was exposed to about the role of the mind in perceiving Qur'anic knowledge, as a tool for understanding revelation and not as a substitute for it, and its treatment of the issues of mental liberation and devotion The principle and adherence to the principles and branches of Sharia, and his distinguished effort in balancing the use of reason and hadith, and so on.
