The current research aims to (Evaluating the skills of reading the geographical map for the fifth elementary grade students from the teachers point of view)The current research community included primary fifth grade teachers and students.

The researcher took a sample consisting of (15) teachers and teachers in the Directorate of Education (Department of the Kotha District) of the Directorate of Education in Babil Governorate The researcher prepared a questionnaire to evaluate the skills of reading the map from the teachers point of view and present it to an elite group of experts and specialists in the methods of teaching, measurement and evaluation to know the soundness of its formulation and its suitability for the purpose of the research divided into eight paragraphs.

The researcher analyzed the data and extracted the weighted mean and the percentage weight of the questionnaire paragraphs, and in light of the results obtained by the researcher, the map reading skills of the fifth grade students have all been achieved with the fifth primary grade students except skill (it distinguishes between the continents of the old and new world) was not achieved because it got On weighted medium (10875) and percentage weight (62.5)
