Abstract EN

The research problem is that the behavior of a number of university professors lacks spiritual vigilance, which is reflected in the educational aspects that they perform at the university in the form of scientific and educational failures.

this void that always stands behind the obstacles that seem evident in the form of material representations or psychological failures that appear on negativity, despair, closed paths and the decay of goals, and transforms the leaming process in the mind into burdens imposed by life.

its importance stems from the importance of spiritual vigilance that the individual and society needs, and from his society, sample and tools, and from the small number of studies that dealt with this variable among the university professor, and from its theoretical framework and results that can fill a gap in the field of knowledge.

the aim of the research is to identify the spiritual vigilance of the professors of the university of Kufa, the level of spiritual vigilance of the university professor and the differences between them, according to the variables (gender, specialization, scientific title, certificate).

achieving the two objectives of the research required building a tool to measure the variable, verify its validity and stability, and apply it to the sample members, and calculate the degree of responses of the sample members and analyze them statistically using the SPSS statistical package.

the results revealed that the level of spiritual vigilance was statistically significant at the level (0.05) and that there were statistically significant differences between the members of the research sample on (gender, specialization, scientific title, certificate) in favor of the scientific title, as those who hold the title of professor and assistant professor enjoy spiritual vigilance males and females, in both scientific and humanitarian specializations, in both master's and doctoral degrees, and in the light of these results, a number of conclusions, recommendations and suggestions were presented, sample subjects according to gender and academic study fields.
