Al-Kumayt is considered one of the greatest Shiite poets who paid attention to the aspect of rhetoric, in addition to being a scholar and representative of Imam al-Baqir (peace be upon him).

We can consider al-Kumayt to be the main factor in the eruption of the volcano of strife between the Nizari and Yamani tribes, and they are one of the most important tribes on which the brutal Umayyad rule is based.
