This research paper, titled "the discursive ethos in Sa'aleek poetry: a rhetorical approach to selected models, examines the poetic discourse of Sa'aleek (brigand-poets) from an ethical perspective.

it seeks to uncover the image that Sa'aleek poets have shaped for themselves through their poetic works, while attempting to answer a major question: how does the discursive ethos function rhetorically in Sa'aleek poetry? to answer this question, the research employs a pragmatic methodology based on description and analysis as assisting tools.

this research allows for a variety of conclusions regarding Sa'aleek poetry, the most important of which is that their poetic discourse is an effective discourse that transmits recipients from realms of anger to realms of contentment, thanks to its characteristics of cleverness, beneficence, and virtuousness that the Sa'aleek (brigand- poets) embodied.
