The study aimed to identify the physical profile of high-level handball players in Algeria, according to playing positions.

in order to answer the question posed, what is the physical profile of high level handball players according to playing positions? we have assumed that the physical profile of the high-level handball players differs according to the playing positions.

in our study, we adopted the descriptive approach appropriate to the nature of the subject on a sample consisting of 44 players from the excellent section, chosen in a random stratified manner.

we used a set of physical tests as a research tool after confirming their scientific foundations of validity., stability and objectivity, and after statistical treatment, we reached the physical profile of handball players, the high level varies according to the playing positions.
