Abstract EN

This study dealt with the problem of employment and unemployment among Algerian youth 15-29 years old in the light of the analysis of the questions of the questionnaire of the Algerian youth survey conducted in 2015, and the data are related to the series of Sahwa surveys, which targeted young people and covered fifteen European countries and five Arab countries.

the results of the study on the labor axis showed the instability of employment by young people, and the strong presence of non-permanent employees 52.1% of young workers in precarious jobs.

permanent employees represent only 27.7% of young workers.

the majority of young workers do not have an employment contract, and lack of access to social security is another indicator of job insecurity.
