This study aims to uncover how the novelist Hassouna al-Mesbahi invests in various forms of heritage (literary, folk, religious, historical, etc.) and employs it as it encompasses the activities of the people, their customs, traditions, beliefs, and modes of thinking by linking the past to the present and envisioning the future.

this can only be achieved by reviving heritage in every artistic work, as we will see in the literary architecture of the novel "thorns and jasmine".
