This study aims at the possibility of studying the construction of fictional characters in the story of Joseph, peace be upon him, from the literary and artistic point of view, by applying the methods used in the literary studies of the story, and according to the specificity of the Qur’anic story and the prophetic personalities.

he intended to reach a conclusion that the Qur’anic story is interesting with its various events and its different characters which are considered among the essential elements of the story and which can be studied on individually or within the rest of the narrative elements.
