Forensic medicine is considered a branch of medical science in general, but specifically it is one of the medical sciences that support the field of justice.

seeking truth through any means possible is a fundamental aspect of achieving justice, as defined by the law.

many crimes, or it can be said that a high percentage of crimes, are committed with a high level of professionalism and precision, leading to ambiguity in the aspects of the committed crime.

the law has granted the authority to uncover the truth of the crime by employing forensic medicine.

in other words, the appointment of a forensic medical expert or forensic physician is made to uncover the mystery or in a new technical issue.

Palestinian law has granted the authority to appoint a forensic medical expert or forensic physician in all stages of lawsuit, when there is a need for clarification of a certain ambiguity.

at the end of their work, they issue a signed and dated report that answers all the questions stipulated in the appointment.

this report is presented to the appointing authority in order to clarify the committed crime and ensure its proper legal classification, as well as impose the appropriate punishment on the perpetrator.
