The health sector is the basis of development in social fields, and is considered one of the monitors and major considerations of the countries of the world.

the aim of our study is to know the truth about the health development of the state of Setif by highlighting the health indicators in the state, comparing them with national and international health indicators.

thus, we identified the concepts related to health development and knowledge of the health situation in the state of Setif, and then we evaluated the situation.

this fact was achieved by using a set of health indicators such as the life expectancy rate, the mortality rate of children and mothers, chronic and infectious diseases, health structures and health coverage, then comparing them with national and global health indicators.
