This research paper focus on the importance of improving the level of indicators about the national innovation system, which is considered as one of the most important pillars of the knowledge economy, it was measured these indicators in Algeria and some developed countries represented by the united states of America, Germany, France, south Korea, china, and some Arab countries represented by Egypt, Tunisia, and morocco.

the study found that the level of innovation indicators in Algeria is one of the weakest and lowest indicators compared to the countries under study, which calls for the importance of improving their levels.
