The Arab cultural scene created an openness to a new literary genre that was termed feminist writing, which reflects modern visions centered on women, as well as a cultural deb at that was for was for women a refuge to vent ideas, opinions and human concerns which hide with in them an obscured feminist reality that the masculine culture cast in the shadow zone.

this reality was calling for women’s rights through creativity that reflects her awareness and point of view about the world on thorny issues that changed the stereotypical vision of her from those around her as a mere body, because she entered the arena of literary life, expressing through hit the racial discrimination that the negro man is subjected to during the time of slavery.

this is what the writer Samiha Kreis did in her novel "slaves’ pistachio" (Foustouk Aabid) in which she touched the concerns and sufferings of the black women in particular, as she is first a woman, and secondly a black woman.
