The internal and external rhythmic formation is the essence of the traditional Arabic poem.

it gives the poem an aesthetic touch of creativity and artistic musical enjoyment.

however, critical studies often neglect the relationship of this musical formation to the psychological and creative side of the poet.

sounds constitute the basic building block in every poem.

they are in harmony with the semantic and emotional side of the poet.

therefore, the paper attempts to reveal the psychological and aesthetic dimensions associated with the rhythmic structure in a poem from Qasayed al-Khansa, which came in a collection entitled "Taraqni al-Dahr".
