Abstract EN

This research paper aims to highlight the important position occupied by the family in human societies and the prominent role it plays in building a good individual who develops himself and serves his country, by examining what it is conceptually and its place within the Algerian legal system.

this paper concluded that the Algerian legislator paid great attention to the family because it is the basic building block of society, and this concern is embodied through the legal and judicial mechanisms that guarantee the protection of the family in its various components and in most of its stages and dimensions.
