Abstract EN

Through the review of the general community of the study, the researcher found that upgrading the art of Arabic calligraphy was a concern that Muslims have been preoccupied with since the dawn of Islam.

the calligraphers kept developing and adding under the eyes of the group that provided them with its criticism and approbation, and aesthetic values and specific illustrative standards were established for drawing letters and extracting manuscripts.

the study mentioned the assertion of a number of researchers and specialists in Arabic calligraphy, illustration and typographical design, that the improvement of the design of Arabic typography can only be accompanied by a good understanding of the foundations of writing Arabic letters, and a conscious application of them.

to achieve this end, the study suggests that the efforts of specialists in the fields of calligraphy, design, printing and computer technologies, education and others should be integrated at the level of countries and groups whose languages are written in the Arabic script.

this research is concerned with the study of (the aesthetics of employing Arabic calligraphy in typographic designs), and the research has been divided into four chapters.
