The article aims to present various problems related to the nature, structure and culture of African societies on the one hand, and the remnants of their colonial past on the other hand, and how these problems could become development obstacles that threaten the security of the continent and put it in front of multiple challenges (the practice of democracy and legitimacy of governance, armed attacks and conflict ethnicity, immigration, interference by external parties) must be confronted and resisted so that the continent can achieve political and social stability and advance the economic sector.
