The doctor must implement all the professional and moral obligations incumbent upon him, and the obligation to inform is one of the most important of these obligations which is also a right of the patient.

informing the patient is one way to maintain trust between the doctor and the patient.

the information provided by the physician to the patient must be clear, simple and appropriate.

if the doctor fails to do so, he is responsible.

however, there are cases where the physician is exempted from the obligation to inform the patient in case of necessity and urgency, as well as in the case of the patient’s waiver of his right to information and finally the medical and psychological condition of the patient who does not allow it.
