This article aims to highlight the growing Turkish influence in the African continent, with analysis and criticism, as it has been an interesting political and academic topic in the recent years.

the Turkish presence in Africa is characterized as soft, namely Ankara relies on soft power mechanisms to penetrate the geopolitical arena of Africa, contrary to the other great powers.

this article will analyze a key research question about the nature and limits of the new Turkish influence in African continent, including its dimensions and implications for the states in the continent.

based on this point, the article will deal with four essential tracks; the first is about the historical relations between Turkey and Africa, the second is on the importance of the African continent in the new Turkish foreign policy, the third is about Turkey's goals and interests in the African continent, while the fourth one deals with the tools of the soft Turkish penetration of Africa, lastly in the fifth part, it will discuss the opportunities and risks resulting from the increased influence of turkey in the African continent.
