The constitutional institution, and according to the last constitutional amendment of 2020, created a new constitutional oversight institution known as the constitutional court as an alternative to the constitutional council as a basis for political oversight of the constitutionality of laws of the French model.

in order to keep up with this new oversight pattern, many amendments were required in order to activate constitutional oversight within a framework going towards what is known as judicial control over the constitutionality of laws that would ensure better respect for the constitution, but within the framework of preserving some of the elements of the constitutional council.
