This study attempts to investigate the contributions of the Algerian-German partnership in order to activate an approach at the local level with the participation of the Algerian regional groups through the implementation of several pilot projects, with its focus on the “green municipalities” project as a model.

this approach through technical support as well as the continuous accompaniment of these regional groups through an agreement concluded with the German party aims to gain more necessary knowledge and experience in this field, in addition to preparing them in the required manner to move forward in this path, and this was clearly demonstrated through a project "green municipalities", which initially targeted a group of regional groups.
