This research paper addresses the problem of reconciling the requirements of health security and maintaining development in light of the policies to confront the Corona pandemic, through the following problem: to what extent have the policies and measures to confront the Corona pandemic succeed in achieving the required balance between the requirements of health security and the bet to preserve development? the research paper concluded that the most appropriate option in dealing with the Corona pandemic in Algeria is the option that preserves health security, but without harming the economic and developmental situation of the country, and this will only come about achieving the required reconciliation between health security and the preservation of development.
