The concept of social responsibility is deeper and more comprehensive than doing voluntary work, helping others, or donating money to associations or individuals.

it is a behavior that an individual or an organization adopts, in order to carry out his duties towards himself and towards the society to which he belongs with all its components.

whenever an individual or an organization realizes this, he will fulfill his environmental, social and economic duty.

these are the three main axes on which the concept of social responsibility is based.

Islamic legislation encourages the adoption of social responsibility, and organized the manner of this adoption in precisely defined mechanisms.

this is evident in the jurisprudence of zakat, the jurisprudence of endowment, the rights due to workers, and charity and tolerance towards customers, in addition to the preservation of common resources and public facilities, such as roads, bridges, forests, water, air, and the cessation of all types of harm.
