Through this presentation, we aim to present the reality of Takaful insurance products in Algeria and the most important challenges facing them, by presenting the case of Salama insurance company in Algeria, which is the only company that carries out Takaful insurance activity in the Algerian market.

the study revealed that the absence of the legal framework governing Takaful insurance activity in Algeria is the most important challenge facing the Takaful insurance industry, in addition to the absence of the insurance culture of the Algerian individual and the lack of development of the Islamic financial and banking system in Algeria.
