As the world entered a new phase of the technology era, the criminal justice facility tended to abandon traditional procedures that were mired in slowness and relied on routine, and began to take into account various modern technology data within the scope of the criminal case.

the need to use these technological techniques increased with the spread of the " Corona " epidemic at the end of 2019, which threatened humanity by spreading from one person to another, so it was necessary to carry out many criminal procedures remotely to resist this spread, which led to the penetration of various modern technologies into all stages of the criminal case,whether in inferences, investigations,or trials.this resulted in the necessity of adopting new concepts of what is the meant by the crime scene, evidentiary evidence, the scope of the criminal trial, and the principles of attendance and confrontation in criminal proceedings, so that it is no longer necessary for the accused and the court to meet in the court room, but rather it has become necessary to understand the scope of the court beyond its walls.

Therefore, I divided this research into an introductory section entitled defining technology and ways to use it in criminal cases, and a first chapter in which I dealt with the use of modern technology in the pre– trial stage and in the second chapter I returned to explaining the use of modern technology in the trial stage.
