The use of genetic engineering in food products has become one of the most prominent challenges facing humanity in the third millennium, carrying within it solutions to the global food problem on the one hand, and causing health and environmental problems on the other hand, which caused controversy to rage between supporters and opponents of it, and fears of these products increased.

After the expansion of its scope and its marketing in light of the lack of proven safety for human and environmental health, which prompted international and national legislation to establish legal controls to regulate it, especially with scientists not being aware of the potential risks that could cause serious damage, it is carried out by civil liability on the part of the responsible person when producing and circulating.
