Abstract EN

The current research aimed to identify the theoretical frameworks for the performance of school leaders in public education in Egypt in light of contemporary administrative and educational literature, and to identify the intellectual and theoretical foundations of the dimensions of the Mckinsey model in, and to reveal the reality of the performance of school leaders in public education in Egypt in light of the dimensions of the Mckinsey model from the point of view the sample of the study, and the development of a number of proposed mechanisms to develop the performance of school leaders in Egypt in light of the dimensions of the mckinsey model.

the researcher relied on the descriptive approach, and in his field framework, relied on the questionnaire to identify the reality of the performance of school leaders in general education schools in light of the Mckinsey model.

the researcher came up with a number of proposed mechanisms for developing the performance of school leaders in light of the dimensions of the Mckinsey model, the most important of which are creating a high environment for motivation, a suitable climate for work, effective delegation of powers, following up on the tasks to be accomplished, improving work plans, and working to respond quickly to technological changes.
