Abstract EN

The research aimed to identify the reality of Assiut university role in values developing of sustainable development among its students, and to develop a proposed vision to activate this role.

the research used the descriptive approach and the questionnaire as a research tool, which was applied electronically to a sample of (1701) students at Assiut university.

the research reached to some results, the most important are: Assiut university has a positive role in values developing of sustainable development among its students, and the axis on technological values came in first place from the perspective of the total sample with a positive score (0.79).the axis related to social values came in second place from the perspective of the total sample with a positive score (0.78), the axis related to environmental values came in third place from the perspective of the total sample with a positive score (0.77), and the axis related to economic values came in fourth place from the perspective of the total sample.

the college had a positive verification score (0.76), and the axis related to political values came in fifth place from the perspective of the total sample with a positive verification score (0.75).

the research presented a proposed vision for activating the university’s role in the values developing of sustainable development among its students.

this vision included foundations, objectives, procedures, and implementation mechanisms.
