Abstract EN

The current study aims to identify effectiveness of a program based on the diversified thinking approach to develop the literary texts analysis skills among secondary school students.

the quasi experimental approach was used, and for the purpose of data collection, the pre-post achievement test was used.

the study sample comprised of (60) students, and the statistical software package for social sciences "SPSS 22.0" was used to analyze the data, and the study concluded the following: there is no statistically significant difference between the experimental and control groups in the pre-application of the literary texts analysis skills (skills related to words -skills related to emotion-skills related to ideas and meanings-skills related to images and imagination).

there is a statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups in the post application of the literary texts analysis skills (skills related to words-skills related to emotion-skills related to ideas and meanings-skills related to images and imagination).
