Abstract EN

The study aimed to reveal the perceptions of male and female mathematics teachers about the use of robots in teaching mathematics to students who are slow learners.

the study used the descriptive method on a sample of (127) male and female teachers from the Aljouf region.

administration distributed over the three educational stages.

the study prepared a questionnaire comprising (51) items divided into (5) domains: teachers' perceptions about employing robots, benefits of robots, educational requirements for using robots, technical requirements for using robots, and challenges that hinder using robots.

the results revealed that there are high perceptions of male and female mathematics teachers about the use of robots in teaching mathematics to slow learners and medium perceptions about the challenges that hinder the use of robots in teaching mathematics.

besides, the results revealed that there were no statistically significant differences between the perceptions of male and female mathematics teachers attributed to the variables of gender, academic qualification, years of service, educational stage, and years of using robots in teaching.

the study recommended the need to meet the requirements of using robots to teach mathematics to slow learners.
