Abstract EN

The research aims to studying the effect of three-dimensional learning which are: disciplinary core ideas (DCIs), crosscutting concepts (CCCs) & science and engineering practices (SEPs) on the development of practical knowledge, scientific argumentation and mental motivation of integrated concepts in an integrated science course for the science teacher student at the college of girls Ain shams university.

the experimental approach was used with a quasi-experimental design with experimental / control groups, the experimental group is the students of the fourth years of the division of educational physics English which are studying integrated concepts (equilibrium, change, diversity, unity & energy) in an integrated science course with three dimensional learning, the control group is the students of the fourth years of the division of educational chemistry English which are studying the integrated concepts by lecture in first semester of the academic year 2021-2022.

the results of research showed that three-dimensional learning helped in development of practical knowledge, scientific argumentation and mental motivation for the experimental group with statistical differences with control group at level (.05) between experimental & control groups in post application.

in the light of research results the researcher recommends training the science teacher student to plan lessons with three-dimensional learning and training the science teacher in the general education stages to teach by three-dimensional learning.
