The aim of the research is to measure the use of holograms to develop environmental awareness and engage in learning among first-grade preparatory students through the subject of social studies.

the second academic year of the academic year 2022 / 2023, and to achieve the goal of the research, the descriptive approach was used in relation to the theoretical framework, which dealt with the literature, research, and previous studies that dealt with the research variables, hologram technology, environmental awareness, engagement in learning social studies, and the method.

semi-experimental to know the effectiveness of using the holographic imaging technique, "hologram", in developing environmental awareness and some engagement skills in learning social studies among first-grade middle school students, and in relation to the research experience and adjusting its variables.

a list of the skills of engagement in learning social studies that must be developed and controlled by the first-year middle school students has been built.

the measure of environmental awareness and the measure of engagement in learning social studies were applied beforehand.

the hologram technique was used in teaching the study unit that was chosen for the students of the experimental research group.

the same study unit was taught in the normal way to the students of the control group, then the environmental awareness scale and the engagement scale in learning social studies were applied post-test.

the research found a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the students of the experimental group and the students of the control group in the post-application of the environmental awareness scale and the scale of engagement in learning social studies in favor of the experimental group.

the research concluded a number of recommendations and proposals in the light of the results.
