Abstract EN

The study aimed at studying the effect of using cognitive modeling in developing conceptual understanding in Islamic studies book (monotheism) for intermediate stage students.

the study was applied in the first semester of the academic year 1444, on a sample consisting of (81) female students that were randomly selected using a specific method.

the descriptive (analytical) approach, and the semi-experimental approach were used: based on the design of (pretesting and post testing method).

to achieve objectives of the study, a list of ideological conceptual comprehension, and a test for measuring levels of ideological conceptual comprehension and the teacher's guide were prepared.

the study reached the following results: -there are statistically significant differences at level of significance (0.05 ≥ α) between the mean scores of the control and experimental groups in the post application of conceptual comprehension, at all dimensions represented by the test (clarification, interpretation, application, polarizing a perspective) and at the total test for perspective of the experimental group.

-there is a high effect volume for the use of cognitive modeling strategy in developing the levels of conceptual comprehension in Islamic studies book (monotheism) for female students of the intermediate stage of education, in all dimensions represented by the test (clarification, interpretation, application, polarizing a perspective).
