Abstract EN

Food security has become more than at any other time one of the crucial bets in achieving sustainable development of societies as well as being one of the pillars of comprehensive security and in the increasing challenges of stability of the current international system and the desire of some countries to renew it.

Algeria seeks to geopolitical positioning that shields it from threats and enhances its opportunities in achieving its food and energy security, especially as it possesses the natural and human resources that qualify it for this.

this study attempts to monitor the energy strategy offered by Algeria within the framework of its national energy transition project based on aligning fossil energy gains with alternative energy capabilities and harnessing this latter to revive the agricultural sector by adopting smart agriculture, especially in the vast desert lands, which would achieve food security, especially in strategic products such as wheat.
