The study aims to detect the illegal immigration repercussions on the mental and physical health of immigrants, first crossing and arriving to western Mediterranean countries.

and then, its reflection on the citizens health of these countries, and their health structures affected by the massive and mixed flows of illegal immigrants carrying infectious diseases (such as tuberculosis, cholera, AIDS, etc.) this led to various measures being taken to contain and confront it.

the study reached a basic conclusion that: illegal immigration has negative health effects on illegal immigrants, as well as the peoples of the countries of the western Mediterranean region, and their health systems.
