The research presents a study on the emergence of the adoption system in the ancient near east region and the circumstances of that with a comparison of the conditions of adoption in Mesopotamia and Egypt.

Mesopotamia preceded the rest of the near east regions in enacting laws that dealt with the conditions of society.
